We had such a wonderful experience with the two morning yoga classes I taught up in Howell last summer that I am going to do an encore this summer with an extra class added in! These classes will be held, once again, on a beautiful deck overlooking the woods in Marion Twp. Last year we had perfect weather, and two deer walked through the woods during our practice one day, enjoying our peaceful yoga energy, no doubt! So join us on one, two or all three of these days for a nice, long, stress-relieving Hatha yoga practice with some luxurious Yin yoga stretches thrown in. All classes will be held outdoors (weather permitting; if not, inside), so dress appropriately.
$15/class, or only $40 if you sign up in advance for all 3 classes. Space is limited, so to reserve your spot please email info@christydeburton.com ASAP.
Our book selection for August is "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert.
In this beautifully written, heartfelt memoir, Elizabeth Gilbert tells how she made the difficult choice to leave behind all the trappings of modern American success (marriage, house in the country, career) and find, instead, what she truly wanted from life. Setting out for a year to study three different aspects of her nature amid three different cultures, Gilbert explored the art of pleasure in Italy and the art of devotion in India, and then a balance between the two on the Indonesian island of Bali.
